Privacy, Security, and Transparency
We appreciate your interest in the online and mobile platforms offered by Fertility Phoenix. This privacy policy outlines the nature of the personal information we gather, our usage practices, our sharing protocols, the rationale behind these activities, and the measures we take to safeguard your data. We discuss these topics comprehensively and encourage you to review them thoroughly. Below is a brief summary to acquaint you with the key points.
What do We Collect?
On our site, we prioritize your privacy and security, thus we collect minimal information necessary for specific purposes. We gather:
- Non-personal information: This is collected automatically from each visitor and may include details such as your device’s operating system, browser type, and other usage data. This helps us understand how our site is used and how we can improve the user experience.
- Personal information: We collect only the identifying information that you voluntarily provide to us. This may include your name, contact details, and shipping address required to fulfill your orders and communicate with you.
- Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Why Do We Use It?
Our use of the collected information is with a focused purpose to enhance your experience and the efficiency of our services:
- Non-personal information: We utilize this to improve and administer our website and mobile platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet your needs effectively. This data helps us understand user behavior and trends, enabling us to make informed decisions about new features and services that might interest you.
- Personal information: The identifying details you provide are used solely for processing your orders, addressing your inquiries, and ensuring seamless delivery of services. We may also use this information to communicate important updates or offers related to our services, always aiming to add value to your experience. Rest assured, your personal information is not for sale or rent; we respect your privacy. It’s shared only when legally mandated or necessary to fulfill our service commitments to you.
When Do We Share It?
Our commitment to your privacy dictates stringent controls over sharing your personal information:
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose your personal information only when required to comply with the law.
- Operational Necessity: We share information with our vendors and business partners strictly on a need-to-know basis, solely to enable them to perform services on our behalf, such as shipping or customer support. These partners are bound by contractual obligations to ensure the confidentiality and security of your information.
- Communication with you: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
- Spam Service: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service such as Akismet Anti-spam service. The information shared typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
We do not engage in selling or renting your personal information to third-party data brokers or marketing companies. Your trust is paramount, and we’re committed to safeguarding your data with the utmost care and respect.
Choices and Rights Regarding Your Privacy
You retain the choice not to share personal information and still access the majority of our online and mobile resources. Additionally, you have the option to withdraw from specific activities, such as receiving newsletters and announcements. Depending on the laws of the jurisdiction where you live or where your personal data was collected, you might also have other rights under relevant data protection regulations.
Navigating Through This Statement
At Fertility Phoenix (“FP,” “us,” “we,” or “our”), we appreciate your engagement with our online and mobile platforms. This section is designed to help you, the user (“you” or “your”), navigate our privacy statement effectively. Our commitment is to users over the age of 13, and this document (“this statement,” “this privacy statement,” or “our statement”) details the nature of the personal information we collect, our processing methods, our sharing practices, and our efforts to protect your data.
When we refer to ‘online and mobile resources,’ we’re talking about the various digital platforms we manage. This includes our websites and any applications we’ve developed and distributed. These resources provide a space for you to engage with our content and services interactively. This section aims to clarify these terms and our practices to ensure you’re fully informed and comfortable with how we handle your information.
Who we Collect Personal Information From
We may collect personal information from the following groups of data subjects: visitors and users of our online and mobile platforms, our clientele, current employees, job applicants, as well as third-party vendors and business associates.
“Personal information” refers to data that identifies you or can be directly associated with you, such as your name, address, phone number, email, social security number, and birth date. Certain jurisdictions have specific definitions of personal information under privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or other state-level U.S. data privacy statutes, and our reference to “personal information” encompasses these additional elements as required by law.
The type and use of collected information vary among these groups. It’s possible for individuals to belong to multiple categories. This statement mainly discusses how we handle personal information from online and mobile resource visitors, users, and customers.
We also gather and keep professional and employment-related personal information typical for an employer to hold about its current and past employees and job applicants. This includes providing legally mandated collection notices and detailing the use and sharing of this data in internal, confidential human resources manuals and documents, or through our proprietary workforce/applicant portals and apps, which might be managed by third-party operators transferring the personal information to us. In such cases, the legal duty to provide notice typically falls on the third party.
Furthermore, as a corporate entity, we engage in various transactions requiring interaction with numerous current and potential vendors and business partners, leading us to collect certain personal information within the context of our contractual and business dealings. Typically, this involves basic business contact information. We utilize and disclose personal information gathered from our vendors and business partners to manage, administer, and fulfill our contractual obligations, or to communicate about our products. The handling of vendor and business partner personal information is outlined more comprehensively in our confidential contracts with those entities or through our internal vendor management portals.
Information we Collect
We gather two primary categories of information from you online, which we then store and utilize: (i) non-personal information that’s automatically collected from every visitor, like your device’s operating system; and (ii) personal information that you willingly provide to us or that is collected automatically. Engaging with our online and mobile platforms or purchasing our products or services signifies your acceptance of this segment of our privacy statement and our rights to utilize and disclose your information as outlined.
Voluntarily Submitted Information
If you participate in certain activities via our online and mobile resources, you may be asked to provide us with information about yourself. The types of personal information we collect in those situations includes identifiers (such as your name, email address, physical address, and phone number), professional information (such as the business you are in), and financial account information (such as your credit card information). We do not sell, rent, or trade voluntarily submitted personal information with third parties.
Should you prefer not to share this personal information, you’re welcome to refrain from participating in activities that require it, or alternatively, you might choose to interact with us via phone or regular mail. While opting out may limit your full engagement with our platforms, it won’t restrict your access to public information.
Here’s how you might typically provide personal information and our usage:
Emails and Online Forms – When you send us an email or fill out an online form, such as to contact us, your email address and any other personal information (e.g., home address or phone number) that may be in the content of your message or attached to it, are retained by us and used to respond back directly to you and to process your request. Depending on the personal information provided, communications from us may be in the form of emails, telephone calls, and/or text messages. We may also send you information about any of our products or services we think may be of interest to you.
Becoming a Subscriber to Our Service – We use any information provided from our customers to perform our contractual obligations and provide the products and services purchased to them, to manage their accounts and communicate with them.
Social Media and Community Features – Some of our online and mobile resources may offer social media-like community features letting users post messages and comments, and/or upload an image or other files and materials. If you choose to make use of these features, the information you post, including your screen name and any other personal information, will be in the public domain and not covered/protected by this statement.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our online and mobile resources, basic information is passively collected through your web browser via use of tracking technologies, such as a “cookie” which is a small text file that is downloaded onto your computer or mobile device when you access the online and mobile resources. It allows us to recognize your computer or mobile device and store some information about your preferences or past actions.
We allow third party vendors to use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities over time following your use of the site. For example, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how you use the online and mobile resources and enhance your experience when you visit the online and mobile resources. For more information on how Google uses this data, go to https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can learn more about how to opt out of Google Analytics by going to https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the

The internet activity information collected through cookies and other similar means includes such things as: the domain name and IP address from which you accessed our online and mobile resources; the type of browser and operating system you use; the date and time and length of your visit; the specific page visited, graphics viewed and any documents downloaded; the specific links to other sites you accessed from our online and mobile resources; and the specific links from other sites you used to access our online and mobile resources.
Additionally, if you access our online and mobile resources from a phone or other mobile device, the mobile services provider may transmit to us uniquely identifiable mobile device information which allows us to then collect mobile phone numbers and associate them with the mobile device identification information. Some mobile phone vendors also operate systems that pinpoint the physical location of devices and we may receive this information as well if location services are enabled on your device. If you do not want us to collect and use geolocation data, disable location services through your device settings.
Regardless, we use both automatically collected information and mobile device information to compile generic reports about popular pages on our online and mobile resources, and to see how our customers and followers are accessing our online and mobile resources. We then use that data to administer the online and mobile resources and make them better, make your activities more convenient and efficient and to enhance the functionality of our online and mobile resources, such as by remembering certain of your information in order to save you time.
Data Retention
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We use and retain your personal information in accordance with applicable law and as long as necessary to carry out the purposes described above in accordance with our internal data retention procedures. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you; (ii) whether there is an applicable legal obligation; or (iii) whether retention is advisable to enforce our agreements, satisfy applicable statutes of limitations, resolve disputes, or manage litigation or regulatory investigations.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We maintain a presence on one or more external social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. We may further allow features of our online and mobile resources to connect with, or be viewable from, that external social media presence. Similarly, our online and mobile resources may contain links to other websites or apps controlled by third parties.
We are not responsible for either the content on, or the privacy practices of, social media platforms, or any third party sites or apps to which we link. Those apps, sites and platforms are not controlled by us and therefore have their own privacy policies and terms of use. If you have questions about how those apps, sites and platforms collect and use personal information, you should carefully read their privacy policies and contact them using the information they provide.
